Compare bulk pickup across eight West Valley communities

Goodyear

Goodyear provides monthly residential bulk collection. The city assigns pickup by address and publishes current placement rules, size limits and exclusions. Construction and demolition material is among the items the city says it will not accept.

Buckeye

Buckeye now uses scheduled bulk pickup for active city trash accounts, with up to four pickups per year. The city limits the pile to 6 × 6 × 6 feet and excludes hazardous waste, many heavy construction materials, tires and refrigerant appliances.

Avondale

Avondale continues to provide monthly bulk-trash service. Use the city’s current Bulk Trash Pickup page for your schedule, placement rules, limits and accepted materials.

Glendale

Glendale provides residential bulk-trash collection and publishes its current bulk-trash rules and schedule online. Check the city page before setting items out because placement windows and prohibited materials matter.

Peoria

Peoria’s bulk-trash program is appointment-based for residents with active city solid-waste accounts. The city currently allows up to two bulk collections per calendar year, with additional collections potentially available for a fee.

Sun City

Sun City does not have one municipal bulk-trash page that applies to every household, so the correct option depends on the resident’s trash provider. If your account is with Parks & Sons, use its customer bulk-collection scheduling portal.

Surprise

Surprise offers bulk-trash and appliance-removal services to residents served by the city’s Solid Waste Department. The city publishes current scheduling and eligibility information on its Bulk Trash Information page.

Litchfield Park

Litchfield Park contracts with WM for residential refuse service. The city says residents can schedule bulk pickup up to six times per year at no additional fee, generally limited to three items per event, with scheduling handled through My WM.

Private hauling usually wins on convenience

Paid junk removal is most valuable when you need the material removed on a particular day, want items carried out from inside, have more than the city or hauler limit, or have qualifying material the public program will not take.
